The Project
The works involved the water-jetting of all the surfaces with a 10,000 psi water jetting machine. Once our operatives had cleaned down the tanks to remove residues of oils etc, grinders were used to remove any scaling, before a three coat two pack epoxy paint system was applied, especially mixed to match Re:Group’s corporate colour scheme.

Specification
The specification used was system that we had used successfully before on industrial projects comprising of a three coat system manufactured by Sigma paints, which incorporated a winter-cure option which reflected the time of year that the tanks had to be painted.
