County Hall Beverley

The Project

The project was carried out for a main contractor working for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. Our sub contract works included the preparation and painting of timber sash windows, cast iron rainwater goods and masonry paint to render surfaces on a collection of buildings forming the County Hall. Some work was carried out during weekend to minimise the disruption to the office staff and a combination of full independent scaffolding and mobile elevated working platforms were used for access. Redecorating the historic Guildhall, pictured above, was also carried out.

Date

October - 2013

6 weeks

Specification

The specification to the timber sash work was Dulux Weathershield system, with Farrow and Ball masonry paint selected to achieve the correct colour to the render of the Guildhall.
